Body Dynamics receives the APTA Private Practice Section 2008 Practice Award.
The Practice Award recognizes innovation in operations or a specific project that promotes a positive image of private practice physical therapy in the community. Jennifer Gamboa will receive the award in November 2008, at the Private Practice Section's annual conference in Orlando.
Gravity Training at Body Dynamics is profiled by WUSA, Channel 9.
On Friday, February 15, 2008, Anita Brikman of Washington, DC's WUSA visited BDI to put together a feature on Gravity Training as part of Channel 9's "Living Well" segment in the evening newscast. Nancy White Honored by PT Association
Congratulations to Nancy White, Associate Clinical Director at Body Dynamics, who was recently awarded the Lucy Blair Service Award from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). This award acknowledges and honors members of the association whose contributions have been of exceptional value.
This is not the first time Nancy has been honored for service. She also received the Paris Distinguished Service award from APTA’s Orthopaedic Section in 2002. Nancy most recently finished a 3-year term as President of the Foundation for Physical Therapy, which funds a significant amount of research in physical therapy. She has also held many positions within the Orthopaedic Section and the Virginia State chapter association. Nancy will receive her award at the APTA National Conference in June 2007.

Jennifer Gamboa's picture was featured in an American Physical Therapy Association ad in the March 26, 2007 and June 18 editions of Newsweek, promoting the physical therapy profession. Body Dynamics Receives ABBIES Award.
In a ceremony on May 16, 2006, Body Dynamics was recognized as one of Arlington County's most outstanding businesses. The Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Arlington's Economic Development Commission presented an ABBIE award to Body Dynamics at the 11th Annual ABBIES Award Ceremony.
